Here at Congregation Adas Emuno, we have a tradition of observing the second day of Rosh Hashanah with a Tashlich service, followed by a picnic, at the Englewood Boat Basin in Bergen County.

Tashlich (תשליך) means "casting off" in Hebrew, and the Tashlich ritual involves tossing pieces of bread into flowing water, to symbolize the casting off of the sins of the previous year.

And with that, we wish you all a Gut Yor!    !גוט־יאָר      Happy New Year!
